Why General Buhari will not be elected

With INEC's decision last Saturday evening, it is beyond obvious that General Buhari will not be allowed to be elected president.  These baby steps to counter the will of the people are simply steps toward the the constitutional deadline of May 29th.

When that day arrives and there has been no election, an interim government will be announced. It is likely to be heavily influenced by a military presence, but they won't call it a military government at first.

We can not allow them that opportunity. The people must take to the streets all over the country to stand up for our democracy.  The powers that be are paying lip service to democracy. They are mocking the people.

The small number of "elites" who are calling the shots (fewer than 200 individuals across the country) should know that they are not above being singled out and bought to justice for the suffering they have inflicted upon the nation through their greed and corruption over the years.

Truly they are playing with fire. The game is nearly over, because the money faucet of the oil boom has been shut off. This is why they are doomed to failure.

Regardless of their tactics, they have no good moves remaining. The only way out for them is to do the honorable thing and let the will of 180,000,000 people govern Naija. One way or the other it will happen.
