Music is about much more than song and dance. In fact, when it is reduced to no more than words to dance to, it loses much of it's power. The role of our talented young artist in the struggle today is to talk to our current political reality.
I challenge contemporary Nigerian artist to be uncompromising in singing truth to power. The truth shall set you free. Keep truth in your music and tell your story. The world is waiting to hear your side of the tale as only you can tell it.
