Sold Into Sex Slavery?

Since the time of their abduction from Chibok, of the 276 young ladies taken; 17 parents of the girls have dropped dead as a result of stress and heartache.  Could you cope knowing that your child was being brutalized by wild animals?

Now that the presidential election has passed, it is time to refocus on finding our girls. The Johnathan Administration would have wanted nothing more than to have recovered our sisters prior to the balloting. We can only assume therefore that they are out of reach of the Nigerian Military. They are likely to have been trafficked into sex slavery as the demonic leader of Boko Haram, Abubaka Shekau, boasted that he would as commanded by "Allah". What a little devil. His head belongs on a pole. 

 

                                                

Okay, so let us assume that has been the fate of these unfortunate girls. How shall we find them? Where are they likely to be held?  In all likelihood they are somewhere in the Arab world. In a country that this devil considers to be a part of the ummah (Muslim community). Shekau you are a slave to white Arabs. To sell our beautiful African daughters to these Arab devils you shall certainly burn in hell if not on Earth. That would be justice. Almighty God will not be mocked.

All those who would harm the people of Almighty God are put on warning. He will soon return with a swords dripping with blood as it was prophesied in the books of the bible.  For now the gallant forces of the Nigerian Army use as their battle cry "Never Again". We pray for them and encourage the military as they continue the deadly work of clearing the abomination of Boko Haram from the Earth.

Fellow Nigerians please let's not forget to pray for these children. An injustice has been committed and we owe it to their families to do all we can to bring them home.  In this way may Almighty God's name be glorified.

Yet Tinubu Shines Golden

AIT recently released a scathing documentary. Its intention was to diminish the stature of Senator Bola Tinubu, head of the APC. Here's why it doesn't add up:

1. Bola Tinubu has been a life long public servant. He has done so much good for the city and state of Lagos and for Lagostians. We know him better than this politically motivated smear campaign could ever tell us about him.
2.  If his connections and knowledge of the workings of the government have allowed him to make a fortune, that's well. The last time I checked Nigeria was a free market economy. The people are encouraged to make money, and the more the better. This is how the economy grows.
3. If Bola Tinubu has broken the law he should answer in court. Why is he free to walk around given the alleged scale of his impropriety? Could it be that these are unsubstantiated claims which will fail when challenged in court? The elections will have held by then (before a court challenge) and any damage to his name and the APC by association will be done and irreversible. This is obviously another PDP dirty trick.

The take away anyone should have, after watching the "Lion of Bourdillion", is that Tinubu was never convicted of any crime. Thus, he is innocent of all of these things. And in fact the people responsible for this documentary are in the process of being sued.

Also it should be noted that governments take care of their obligations to their citizens with tax revenues. The documentary openly admits that Alphabeta, Mr. Tinubus's company, increased the Lagos state government's ability to gather taxes by a factor of twenty. Tax revenues grew from a meager N10 billion to N200 billion when Alphabeta was  contracted as a consultant. The company more than paid for itself. Should they not be compensated for their service rendered?

On the subject of Lekki real estate, we must consider that it was Mr. Tinubu's vision during his time as governor which led to the development of what was a virtual wilderness into what Lekki is today becoming. Again if he has legally managed to amass property and such, please bear in mind that there was nothing there before Tinubu. So what are we actually talking about anyway?

At 33:20 into the program it is mentioned that someone (a Nigerian governor) had stolen a massive amount of money. Notice that Tinubu is not mentioned as the person they are referring to. The clip is taken out of context, and is intended to mislead the viewer. Lastly the matter of Dr. Tunji Olowolafe's arrest. Notice again that the medical doctor was actually not indited of a crime, and he was indeed released. This documentary is pure nonsense meant as a speed bump to derail the APC candidates running in this year's elections.

Senator Bola Tinubu has no reason to hang his head in shame. Indeed he should walk with his chin up. Knowing full well that he has done it all correctly. He has always given us his best. And that is why Lagos is today developing into a mega city within a mega state of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

May Almighty God continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Preparation for "Operation Skelewu"

In case the current administration in Abuja gets the idea that the election can be postponed again or an interim government can be imposed on this country. I declare that we the people of Nigeria will not stand by and allow that to happen.  We will resist until you are bought to your knees. So think well about your next move. Things will never be the same. We will be free.

The ghost of this banner still flies over Naija

The time has come to break the colonial mentality which has controlled the thinking in this country. We are not subjects, we are citizens. Our true army is not an occupying force, but a defense force intended to protect us; not to be misused as a tool of oppression against its own people.  The same is true of the police force.

Our politician are not kings.They are elected representatives of the people. The days of suffering and smiling are over. We are setting back the clock.  Let us return to the promise this nation held at birth. This year will be the year when this country came of age. The year 2015 will be be recorded in our history as the year when we the people of Nigeria woke up and seized control of our glorious destiny.

The go slow of all go slows

"Operation Skelewu" will be a peaceful non-violent protest intended to block road access to the ports of Apapa and Tin Can Island in Lagos. This march will take place only if the current administration attempts to block the 2015 election scheduled in accordance with the 1999 constitution. Or if an interim government is forced on the people unconstitutionally. If the election is held according to the law this peaceful protest march will never be staged with all of its ramifications.

The government derives N2 trillion each year through the ports of Apapa. Without these revenues the government will be compelled to do the right thing. The power belongs to the people. The army is ours, the police are ours, the government is ours, and the ports of Apapa are ours.  Be brave my people Almighty God is with us. We are not alone.

We the People of Naija

Misery is not something to be embraced. Rather it is to be rejected. This is common sense. But is common sense common in Naija? Yes it is; it is common sense taken to the next level. Our sensibility is to be practical. And it is this practicality which has lead us to accept the unacceptable. Hence we suffer miserably. Even though we have it within our ability to make the suffering end today.

The current administration is now threatening to keep our state of misery intact regardless of our cries for peaceful change through the ballot box.  They have already moved the goal post once and added time to the clock to give themselves an unfair advantage.  Their ploy won't work. They may press to deprive the people of our will yet again. They have various tricks to choose from. None of them will work. But in the meantime what must we the people of Nigeria do?

We must mount a direct challenge to this corrupt government by the few to ensure that true democracy takes hold in Nigeria.  The moment another election postponement is announced we must take to the streets in peaceful mass protest across the country. Bring your hand made signs, banners, noise makers and flags. Gather at your state capitals and raise your voice in mass numbers.

Simultaneously in Lagos the protest should be directed at the ports in Apapa with the objective of mounting a peaceful protest which will stop activity at the port for as long as it takes for the election to be held. Again I stress this protest should be peaceful.  Bring your cameras it will be a history making event. Tell everyone you know, spread the word through social media. The protest will be organised from the National Arts Theater and the patriots will march to the ports by way of Apapa Road until we reach the Wharf Road Round About. Which is where we will make our stand for true democracy.

The Port of Apapa is a strategic point which the anti-democratic government can not function without. If we wanted we could shut it down completely, and it may come to that. However, if the elections are conducted by free and fair means in accordance with the constitution of 1999, this will not be necessary. The intention of this non-violent protest is to call the attention of the authorities to the fact that the people are now fed up with the corruption and mismanagement which has plagued our country right from birth.  It is time for a new day in Naija and we are determined to bring that day to light with the help of Almighty God.

Anyone who is able to participate in this peaceful protest is advised to join up at the National Arts Theater in Lagos at daybreak on the day following the next postponement date.  This will be a peaceful protest, so come with a focus on righteous outcomes as the result of righteous actions. We are just in our reasoning. If Almighty God is with us who would dare stand against us.

Kingdom Come

To fight with honor is commendable. To fight dirty is disgraceful.  People who believe in doing the right thing in the right way are living up to their potential as human beings.  Currently the PDP are not living up to their potential.

The behavior of the PDP has been so underhanded that it is highly unlikely that they will obtain 40 % of the popular vote in the upcoming March 28th election. They have disgusted the voters. That's  their problem. Just about every political observer today could predict a landslide is on the way.  The PDP has already fabricated a reason to postpone the election once. What will be their next ploy?

When President Obasanjo stated recently that The ruling party intends to win the coming election by hook or by crook, what was he actually telling us?  How far might President Johnathan's backers go to keep him in office? Thus insuring their hold on power, and the ability to operate with impunity for the law.  They fear General Buhari like a mouse fears a cat.  To them Buhari represents nothing good. Thus, they will do anything to prevent him from occupying Aso Rock.

Actually it's not just the PDP who should be concerned, but anyone who has profited through corrupt means.  If you got where you are through merit and hard work relax. All others, you may have a problem.  "President Buhari Part 2" is likely to be a heart stopping thriller.  How far will the PDP go to make sure that the next chapter never gets made? Time will tell.  But one thing they should consider is that General Buhari isn't the problem. They are the problem.

If  General Buhari should happen to get shot dead or blown to bits between now and May 29th, it will kindle the fuse that will ignite a revolution.  The people see the shadows moving about the walls of the cave, and we will enter and drag you out. So, either respect the Fourth Republic and honor the election and its result or you will reap what you sow.

Greedy Goats and Their Effects

The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has likened thieving government officials to greedy goats who shouldn't be tempted with yams left in their presence.  Although goats aren't exactly dumb relative to other animals, they are no match for our corrupt political class, which is in serious need of purging. Mr. President is a zoologist, so I'm sure he is familiar with animal intelligence surveys.

                                                                                                 

President Johnathan believes that if we simply separate the goats from the yams the thieving will end. Notice I'm targeting stealing, because the president made a point of separating that from other forms of corruption. That's another story for another time.

Let's consider the effect of greedy goats on a farmer who has toiled to produce the yam.  The resources, hard work, and time which went into producing the yam can never be recovered. The farmer can only recover the equivalence to the yam by considering that it has added value to the goat. The yam is gone forever.  However, it will add to the goats weight at the market.

Let us take the analogy a step further.  Let's talk about us. The goat, of course, represents the corrupt official. The yam is the missing naira.  What is the effect on our society when a thieving politician eats our naira? And how can we recover value?  Here is where the analogy falls apart.  You see, there is no way to get back all of what was stolen from us.  We can't sell the evil politician at the market.

This is why they are intolerable. They are causing hunger and stifling the healthy development of Naija. They make it so that resources that could be used to create jobs and opportunities are unavailable. Thus, forcing our youth into lives of crime and prostitution in order to survive.  If we don't put an end to them, they will put an end to us.  They are killing our children.  What shall we do with such mischievous goats?

                                                   

      

Compassion says that once convicted these criminals should be jailed according to current legal precedent. I object on the grounds that this hasn't worked.  We need stricter laws and harsher sentencing guidelines which make public theft a capital offense.  Their crimes are causing people to die. We are becoming victims of: violent crime, poor health care, and broken spirits.  Stealing from the people shouldn't be tolerated any longer in Nigeria. It is time for us in this generation to begin to build the type of nation our children can be proud of.

                                                   

Corrupt officials should face a public execution by firing squad of 37 rifles (One for each state in the federation and one for the F.C.T).  Their friends, family members, and mistresses should be subjected to investigation and being tried separately if need be.  The condemned should be jailed for two years prior to execution. In this time they will be offered an opportunity to have their sentenced commuted to life in prison for good behavior.  Good behavior shall mean confession and complete recovery of stolen assets.

                                            

It may sound harsh, but believe me my people this is the only medicine which can save mama Naija. She is very ill. Before we would allow our mother to die, we must do all in our power; and we are powerful enough to save her from the evil jaws of death.

Oil a blessing and a curse

Our national Vitamalt® (petroleum) is sucked through a common straw which originates in the Niger Delta.  The Nigerians who live in this region have hardly benefited relative to the vast contribution which their region has offered to the nation over the past several decades.

Their environment has been polluted through the activities of oil and natural gas exploration.  The likes of Ken Sarow Wiwa were dealt with in the most intolerable ways simply for standing up for their rights.  

Naija the time to repair ones roof is when the sun is shining. People of good will, please imagine that you were from the delta.  How would you feel about this issue?

Nigerians shouldn't be preparing to turn guns on each other to resolve through violence these matters which can be settled peacefully by those who believe in justice.  The Niger Delta has given so much to Nigeria. It is time that we acknowledge this fact and initiate a program of development which will go beyond placating our brothers and sister of that region. Let us offer to them what they deserve to have, as the God given life blood of our nation comes from the space they occupy.

God loves the just. Those who make peaceful change impossible make violent change unavoidable.  The Niger Delta is part of Nigeria. In fact it is the heart of Nigeria.  Let us do the right thing. It is never too late to do what is right.
